17-days down and coming into the homestretch! I am feeling great and feeling committed to my goals.
Want to save my back for my race on Saturday so today was a little light yoga and some ibuprofen; I am going to go on a short run tomorrow morning make sure my body is ready for Saturday. I also will not be going back to boot camp until Sunday because of the Saturday race. I kind of miss it already but was afraid to overdo it so decided to stick to yoga and a short run.
Saturday is just a 1/4 marathon, 6.55 miles, it is downtown so mostly no hills and the weather should be perfect, cool but not too cold. I am racing with my daughter for the first time since spring so I am pretty excited about that.
Saturday is a crazy day for me. First the race, and then shopping, and then a local Trunk-or-Treat, and then a birthday party. I have to say I have a pretty decent life, if I did not I am not sure I would be putting all of this effort into living longer :). And tonight at dinner the conversation was around the next goal, Clean Eating to build a healthier lifestyle.
