I mentioned yesterday that I started hiking; this picture is from one of our local trails, one of my favorites when I need an easy hike to take the puppy or just relax.

My hiking so far has been local, fortunately we have a lot of options in the area, and I can take an easy hike or be challenged, depending on how adventurous I am feeling.

I am by no means an experienced or exciting hiker, but I do enjoy getting outside, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is not currently doing it regularly.

Go hike, take the dog for a walk, go downtown and see the sights, really whatever gets you outside.  I promise, you will be glad that you did. 🙂
